LSTWCM: Best Application of STEM Subjects
Secondary school students will showcase their innovations in a STEM competition, using creativity and technical skills to come up with innovation products for real-world problems.
Taking a different approach, the "Live Smart" project devised by the team form Lok Sin Tong Wong Chung Ming Secondary School deploys technology to adjust the polarisation of light entering a building, thereby reducing energy consumption.
A total of 132 teams took part in the Challenge and the shortlisted teams will present their projects to a Judging Panel led by Professor Frederick Ma, Chairman of MTR Corporation. Matthew Cheung, Chief Secretary for Administration, will speak at the event and present awards to the winners.
